Harold 'Clarke' Rutledge

Harold “Clarke” Rutledge, 74, Warsaw, passed away at 3:48 a.m. April 24, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Aug. 4, 1939, in Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia, Canada, to Fredrick Archibald and Olive Maude MacDonald Rutledge. On July 19, 1997, he married Carole Ann Crosby Rutledge, who survives in Warsaw.
He served in the Canadian Air Force from Jan. 21, 1957 until his honorable discharge on Aug. 4, 1972. He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 34 years where he was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Warsaw and the Knights of Columbus.
He moved to Warsaw in 1980 when he started working for Zimmer Inc. He worked there for a number of years, then later worked at DePuy, Biomet, Applied Thermal Technology and then with B&M Instruments until his passing.
He will be lovingly remembered by his three sons:  Dale and Todd Rutledge, both of Ontario; Timothy (and spouse Vicki) Rutledge, Warsaw; three stepsons: Ralph (and spouse Christine) Marcuccilli, Fort Wayne; Bob (and spouse Shari) Marcuccilli and Michael (and spouse Jena) Marcuccilli, all of Warsaw; three daughters: Tracey (and spouse Steve) Kamp, Akron; Toni McLeod, Ontario; Amber (and spouse Scott) Warren, Warsaw; two stepdaughters, Melanie (and spouse Jeff) Cameron, and Angela (and spouse Randy) Burnett, all of Warsaw; 33 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; six brothers: Terrance (and spouse Betty), Fredrick, Sandy (and spouse Gail), Wade (and spouse Vicky) and Craig (and spouse Melanie) Rutledge, all of Nova Scotia; Dale (and spouse Jean) Rutledge, Ontario; eight sisters: Carolyn (and spouse Robert) Hickey, Agnes (and spouse Brian) Moser, Barbara (and spouse Barry) Verge, Bonnie (and spouse James) Lowe, Joy (and spouse Joseph) Casey, Kellie (and spouse Gordon) Fiander and Judy (and spouse Walter) Johnson, all of Nova Scotia; Eunice (and spouse Ronald) Beck, Quebec. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic church, 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw, with Father Phil DeVolder officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
