EUSTIS, Fla. – Harold C. Metzger, 84, Eustis, Fla., and formerly of Silver Lake, passed away Jan. 11, 2015. He was born in Springfield, Mo. He was married to Pauline Metzger, who survives in Eustis. He moved to Eustis in 1970 from Silver Lake. He was a finish carpenter working with Spears Construction for many years, and after his retirement he still enjoyed woodworking. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. Also surviving are a son, Randy Metzger, Tampa, Fla.; two grandchildren, Morgan E. and Garrett M. Metzger, both of Tampa; two brothers, Norman L. Metzger, Silver Lake, and Lyle J. Metzger, Warsaw; a sister, Norma Kirkwood, Warsaw; and many extended family and friends.
