Evelyn H. Hyde, 87, died at 10:50 p.m. Sept. 15, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born Oct. 14, 1925, in Palestine, to Burton and Aurel Secor Hatfield. She married James R. Hyde, who preceded her in death Sept. 15, 1991. She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County. She was a sewing operator at Playtime Inc. and OEC, Warsaw. She was a member of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters, Sharon (and spouse Richard) Delagrange, Warsaw, and Christine (and spouse Tom) Heckman, Sun City, Fla.; a son, Barry J. (and spouse Marcia) Hyde, Warsaw; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Also preceding her in death were seven brothers and four sisters. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Steven Ailes, Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
