MILFORD – Eva J. McClintic, 86, Milford, passed away Jan. 1, 2015, at I.U. Goshen Hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1928, in Lafayette, to Russell and Hazel Miller Wineland. On April 26, 1947, she married her husband of 67 years, Bruce D. McClintic, who survives. She lived most of her life in the area and worked for Dana Corporation for 21 years and Sprague for 10 years. She was a member of the American Legion, VFW and DAV Auxiliaries. Also surviving are a daughter, Joellen Free, Milford; two sons, Jack (and spouse Janet) Stump, Watkinsville, Ga., and Jerry (and spouse Barb) McClintic, Milford; two granddaughters, Jennifer Garcia, Milford, and Suellen Kipp, Fort Wayne; four grandsons: John (and spouse Nicole) Free, Price, Utah; Doug Free, Las Vegas, Nev.; Chad (and spouse Kim) and Josh (and spouse Abby) McClintic, all of North Webster; five great-grandsons; three great-great-granddaughters; and a daughter-in-law, Christine Stump, Milford. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Bob Rosa officiating.
