Elizabeth Jane Stricklin Hamm, 77, of 337 Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake. died at 6 a.m. June 18, 2009, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Nov. 21, 1931, in Price Dale, Pa., to Albert and Catherine Vukovich Stricklin. In 1952, in Ligonier, she married Orville E. Drake, who died in 2003. On April 12, 1981, in Warsaw, she married Wilber K. Hamm, who died Aug. 16, 1998.
Living in Indiana since 1968, she lived in the Barbee Lake area since 1971. A homemaker, she also was a cook at Stacey's Lounge, Leesburg, for eight years, and worked at Maple Leaf Farms, Milford, for 10 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathy (and spouse Tom) Kirkpatrick, San Diego, Calif., and Judy (and spouse David) Eppenbaugh, Warsaw; a son, Joe Drake, Syracuse; a sister, Evelyn Groves, Syracuse; two brothers, Ronald (and spouse Joyce) Stricklin, Syracuse, and Robert (and spouse Judy) Stricklin, Greensburg, Pa.; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Burial will be at a later date in Kentucky.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
