SYRACUSE – Elizabeth “Boske” Varga, 74, Cromwell, passed away Jan. 18, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse. She was born Oct. 10, 1940, in Kapuvar, Hungary, to Andre and Erzebet Bricht Varga. She moved to the area in 1966, coming from Hungary. She was a member of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel. Surviving are a daughter, Celeste (and spouse Richard) Griffin, Cromwell; three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her significant other, Richard Scroggs, in 1992. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Eastlund Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Syracuse Cemetery.
