Dorothy June Craig, 79, of 724 N. Cook St., Warsaw, died at 5:15 a.m. Nov. 25, 2009, in her residence.

She was born March 26, 1930, in Warsaw, to Arthur Lee and Maude Mae Sickafus Hunter. On Oct. 23, 1960, she married Chester Scott Craig, who survives.

A lifetime Warsaw resident, she was a homemaker and retired after several years in the R.V. industry. She was a seamstress all of her life and a dealer for Sarah Coventry Jewelry for several years. She attended Presbyterian Church, Winona Lake. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Pierceton, and Moose Auxiliary, Warsaw. She loved to grow all types of flowers and was especially fond of and loved her grandchildren. She was a 1948 graduate of Tollison High School, Gary.

Also surviving are five children: Kenneth E. (and spouse Hong Kyu) Craig, Victoria R. Reiter and David S. (and spouse Kae Kyung) Craig, all of Warsaw; Priscilla M. (and spouse Dave) King, Wabash; and Larry W. Craig, Washington; eight grandchildren: Wesley and Nickolas Craig; James Hale; and Scott, Sue, Shane, Frank and Thomas Reiter, all of Warsaw; two brothers, Clifford Devon Hunter, Sorrento, Fla., and Darryll Thomas Hunter, Yellow Creek; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Wendall and Robert Hunter; a sister, Wilma Lee Hunter; a grandson, Shawn E. Reiter; and a son-in-law, James D. Reiter.

A graveside service will be at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, with Pastor Bert Pauluhn officiating.

No calling is planned.
