NAPPANEE – Donald R. Helmuth, 61, Milford, died at 1:02 p.m. Aug. 31, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, from injuries received in a horse riding accident on Aug. 18. He was born April 21, 1954, in Bremen, to Crist E. and Wilma Yoder Helmuth. On Oct. 29, 1978, he married Carol Kay Graber, who survives. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the family residence, with the home ministry of the Old Order Amish Church officiating. Burial is in Union Center West Cemetery. Calling is after 2 p.m. today and all day Wednesday at the family residence. Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is entrusted with arrangements.
