Daniel J. "Boonie" Hamilton, 42, of 1612 Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw, went to be with God at 9:54 a.m. June 21, 2008, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, surrounded by his family, after a serious illness.
He was born Jan. 15, 1966, in Mount Clemens, Mich., to Walter and Marilyn Hamilton.
He was a 1984 Warsaw Community High School graduate and a machinist at Biomet for 10 years.
Also surviving are his mother and stepfather, Earl and Marilyn Workley, Warsaw; his father and stepmother, Walter and Donna Hamilton, Warsaw; a brother, Mark (and spouse Lori) Hamilton, Warsaw; a sister, Aimee (and spouse Jim) Farmer, North Manchester; and three nephews, a niece, a great-nephew and a great-niece, all of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by two stepbrothers.
He will be missed by many close friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Gale Janofski officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
