Colleen M. LaFollette, 83, of Columbia City, died at 2:15 p.m. April 7, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Columbia City.
She was born Oct. 2, 1926, in Warsaw, to Max and Martha Grimes McAllister. She married Howard Charles LaFollette, who preceded her in death.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she worked at Dana, Syracuse, and owned a beauty salon in Claypool. She was a member of United Auto Workers and the American Legion Auxiliary, Pierceton.
Surviving are a brother, Steven Bayne, St. Petersburg, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and three children.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Graceland Cemetery, Claypool, with Pastor Bryan Koorey officiating.
No calling is planned.
