AKRON - Claudia M. Sriver, 96, of 315 N. Maple St., Akron, died at 9:58 a.m. June 8, 2007, in her son's residence.
She was born June 21, 1910, in Fulton County, to Winfred C. and Emma Hoppes Rhodes. On March 31, 1934, in Rochester, she married Orville Sriver, who died Dec. 15, 1998.
She worked at Indiana Metal, Rochester, and Tru-Temper and Chamberlin Products, both in Akron. She was a lifetime member of Order of the Eastern Star and a former member of Athens EUB Church.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Sriver, Akron, and Randy Sriver, Bremen; a brother, Robert Rhodes, Rochester; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers.
A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Athens Cemetery.
