Clarence S. Zimmerman, 84, of Warsaw, died at 7:35 a.m. March 25, 2011, in his residence.

He was born Dec. 25, 1926, in Schenchen, Kan., to John and Rose Dreher Zimmerman. On Oct. 16, 1999, in Warsaw, he married Irene L. Keegan, who survives.

He moved to Warsaw from Frankfort, Ill., in 1996. He was a high-pressure welder for Local 597 Pipe Fitters Union, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, and a 50-year member of Knights of Columbus. He had a love for dancing and flowers.

Also surviving are two daughters, Connie (and spouse Scott) Leturno, Plainfield, Ill., and Claudette (and spouse Marc) Przymanowski, Naperville, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Michelle Myers, Warsaw; a brother, Connie Zimmerman, Hays, Kan.; 10 grandchildren: Chris, Michael, Carrie, Amanda, Catherine, Elizabeth, Richard, Brianna, Taylor and Alexis; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine Zimmerman; a son, Timothy Zimmerman; a daughter, Colleen Zimmerman; and eight brothers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Father DeVolder officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

No calling is planned.
