Banning To Launch New Sermon Series
ATWOOD – In September, Atwood Otterbein Church Pastor David Banning will be launching a new sermon series entitled “Faithful Stewardship: Effectively Managing Resources God Entrusts to You.”
The congregation will explore what it truly means to be faithful stewards of all that God has entrusted to them … their time, talents, treasures and even the gospel message itself.
Stewardship is more than just a financial topic: it is a spiritual calling. Banning will focus on the abilities, resources, relationships and opportunities that come from God and ultimately belong to him. They are called to manage these gifts wisely for his kingdom purposes.
During the series, Banning will look at biblical examples of faithful stewardship, examine how everyday decisions can honor God and discover practical steps for living generously and responsibly.
The public is encouraged to join the congregation for this opportunity to unite into a deeper commitment to God’s work. Banning’s messages will speak to the heart of what it means to live a purposeful, God-honoring life.
Atwood Otterbein Church is at 306 E. Main St., Atwood. Banning may be reached at 574-858-2291 or atwoodotterbeinchurch@gmail.com. More information may be found on the church website at www.atwoodotterbeinchurch.org, and their Facebook page is Atwood Otterbein Church.
