Beaver Dam Community Church To Hold Lakeside Worship
AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Egg Town Coffee (formerly Java Jacks) in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
On Sunday, there will be lakeside worship at 8 a.m. at Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, at the Beaver Dam Lake boat launch (if raining it will be canceled by 7:30 a.m.) or 9:30 a.m. worship at the church with coffee refreshments served from 9 to 9:30 a.m.

Yoder To Present Message
MENTONE – The community is invited to Mentone United Church on Sunday for worship at 10:15 a.m. Pastor Dana Yoder will present the message “Sabbath Living, Sabbath Healing.” The scriptures are from Isaiah 58:9-14 and Luke 13:10-17. A churchwide carry-in will follow at 11:30 a.m. Bring your favorite dish to share and join the fellowship and fun.
All are welcome at Mentone United Methodist Church. They offer an early bird adult Sunday school class at 9 a.m. before worship service at 10:15 a.m. They are at 116 E. Main St., Mentone.

Palestine Bible Church
Announces Pastoral Search
PALESTINE – Palestine Bible Church has begun a search for its next pastor. Pastor Tom Craig, who has been at Palestine for the past six years, has announced he will retire in late October after 40 years in the ministry.
Palestine Bible Church is an independent, non-denominational, Bible-believing church that preaches the word of God. Palestine offers traditional Sunday School and Worship services each Sunday at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.
The church is at 3226 S. CR 550W, Palestine, 6.5 miles southwest of Warsaw and 5 miles northeast of Mentone on Ind. 25.

Claypool UMC To Hold Fellowship
CLAYPOOL – A challenge to search the scripture is to use the month and date of your birthday of each book of the Bible. Many have done their birthday, anniversaries, spouse‘s birthday now they’re into children’s or grandchildren‘s birthdays. Claypool United Methodist Church prays you will take the challenge with them.
SPARC continues to meet each Thursday after school for snack, scripture, songs and some silliness..
Sundays are time to study at 9:30 a.m. fellowship at 10:10 a.m. and worship at 10:30 a.m. During that hour they will be praying, praising with music, listening to kids chat before they go to kids church and finally listen to Pastor Diane Quance‘s message “Protection Plan” from Psalms 71: 1-6. The devotional group is open to anyone to join them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The praise team has practice on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
They have started a prayer time for children that have came through their doors in the last year. Each child’s name has been given to a person in the church. Each day of the month we have a different subject that we will include our child to receive as they go through this school year.

Eastway To Present Message
BURKET – Burket Bible Church welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is "The Golden Years" from Luke 12:13-21.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Egg Town Coffee in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and study starts at 9 a.m. The women's Bible study will meet Saturday at 9 a.m. at Egg Town Coffee.
Praise practice is Tuesday at 4 p.m. Burket Lifewise classes are Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Community Bible Church offers Sunday school, morning church, evening church and a prayer meeting on Wednesday.
Pastor Joe Lloyd welcomes everyone to come and enjoy the fellowship and Bible teaching.
