SYRACUSE – Catherine “Katie” Connell, 94, of Syracuse, died Jan. 28, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.
She was born July 24, 1917, in Kosciusko County, to James and Elva Miles Connell.
A lifetime Syracuse resident, she was a bookkeeper at Modern Educational Systems, Goshen, for many years. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Syracuse, since 1948.
Surviving are a sister, Jean Knisely, Syracuse; several nieces and nephews; and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse, with Pastor Mark Eastway officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
