SYRACUSE - Betty Jean Parker, 82, of Syracuse, died at 5:40 a.m. Oct. 26, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.
She was born June 8, 1925, in Mishawaka, to Harold and Esther Gallagher.
A lifetime area resident, she formerly worked at Ball Band Factory, Mishawaka, and attended Wawasee Lakeside Chapel and Boat in Church. She was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Wysong; and a daughter, Jim Parker.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Syracuse Cemetery with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating.
No calling is planned.
