NORTH MANCHESTER – Bettie Bradley, 95, of North Manchester, died at 3:32 p.m. Dec. 4, 2012, in her residence.
She was born Aug. 28, 1917, in Magoffin County, Ky., to George and Dolly England Hale. On Jan. 25, 1938, she married Joe Bradley, who died March 25, 1998.
She was a homemaker and a member of Old Regular Baptist Church Little Martha White Church, Magoffin County.
Surviving are six sons: Phil E. (and spouse Avadean) Bradley, Sidney; Carlos B. Bradley, Syracuse; Sam D. (and spouse Bernie) Bradley and Ralph E. (and spouse Peggy) Bradley, all of North Manchester; and Gordon R. (and spouse Norma Jean) Bradley and Joe D. (and spouse Kelly) Bradley, all of Warsaw; four daughters: Patricia A. (and spouse Ray) Cumberland, Silver Lake; Sharlon K. (and spouse Danny Castle, North Manchester; Betty Jo (and spouse Curtis) Robinson and Wanda L. (and spouse Lowell) Teagle, Kokomo; a half sister, Bessie Wireman, Magoffin County; 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Tom Richards and Ed Ensley officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
Calling is from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
