Anna Jane Parsley, 84, of Warsaw, died at 4:25 a.m. June 27, 2013, in Mason’s Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. She was born May 6, 1929, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Richard and Aggie Poe Gibson, who preceded her in death. On May 24, 1962, she married Paul D. Parsley, who preceded her in death Nov. 29, 2006. She moved to Warsaw from Indianapolis in 2003. She worked for RCA, Indianapolis, for 35 years, retiring in 1996. She also attended Harvest Community Church, Pierceton, and volunteered at Miller’s Merry Manor twice a week for the last several years. Surviving are two brothers, Sammie Gibson, Scottsburg, and Charlie Gibson, Warsaw; four sisters: Betty Zimmerman, Fort Wayne; Becky Krotke, Laketon; Dottie Teeter, North Manchester; Joyce Arnett, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Richard Parsley; and three brothers, Arnold, James and Richard Jr. Gibson. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Glen Hall officiating. Burial will be in Sidney Cemetery.
