ELKHART – Angel M. Carder, 39, Elkhart, passed away at 7:53 p.m. July 15, 2014, at her residence. She was born June 14, 1975, in Toledo, Ohio, to Benny N. Bethel and Angela T. Carder. She graduated from West Noble High School, Ligonier, attended college in California to obtain a medical assistant’s degree and formerly worked in a cardiologist office. She moved to Elkhart 12 years ago from Toledo and formerly lived in Syracuse and California. She was raised in the Catholic Church and active in Alcoholics Anonymous. Surviving are her father, Toledo; two sons, Brian Cooper and Evan Carder, both of Toledo; a sister, Jennifer (and fiance Kent Holden) Wines, Syracuse; and a brother, James Rabara, Athens, Ga. She was preceded in death by her mother. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse.
