Amos Don Kaiser, 88, of Leesburg, died at 3:19 p.m. July 8, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Nov. 26, 1919, in Leesburg, to William and Lela Bowser Kaiser.
A lifetime Leesburg resident, he was a janitor at Leesburg United Methodist Church. He loved the movie "Gone With The Wind" and was an avid collector of pictures and trivia of the movie.
Surviving are a niece, Sharon (and spouse Dennis) Haber, Crown Point; a grandniece, Wendy Haber, Glendora, Calif.; a grandnephew, Rick (and spouse Susan) Haber, Dubuque, Iowa; a great-grandnephew, Kyle Haber, Dubuque; and two great-grandnieces, Anna and Elly Haber, both of Dubuque. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorthy Mitchell, and a brother, Glenn Kaiser.
Services will be at noon Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Michael Heath of Leesburg United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
Calling is from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral home.
