ROANN – Amie Ruth Woodward, 30, Claypool, passed at 4:08 p.m. July 2, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Jan. 12, 1986, in Wabash, to James and Angela Kerr Woodward.
She graduated from Northfield High School in 2004 and from Tucker Vocational School in 2007 as an LPN. She loved her job at Maple Leaf Farms where she was a supervisor in the York Room. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Madalyn, watching movies and SVU, boating, and their favorite pastime was getting ice cream together. She was a mentor at the Rose Home North, Syracuse.
Surviving are her daughter, Madalyn Woodward; father, James (and spouse Debbie) Woodward, mother, Angela (Ed Sroufe) Woodward, all of Claypool; two brothers, Eric Woodward, Wabash, and Curt Woodward, Albion; three stepsisters: Holly (and spouse Scott) Heller, Akron, Katie (and spouse Mike) Conrad, Syracuse Lake, and Abby Sroufe, Chapman Lake; one stepbrother, Steven (and spouse Michelle) Williamson, Fort Wayne; and her grandparents, Ned and Shirley Woodward, Wabash, and Rex and Judy Kerr, Roann. She was preceded in death by her sister, Erin Woodward.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Roann Chapel, Roann, with Pastor Butch Troke, officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery, Lincolnville.
Calling will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
