NAPPANEE – Amanda E. Kuhns, 84, of 7426 W. CR 850N, Etna Green, died of natural causes at 2:42 a.m. Feb. 26, 2013, in her residence.
She was born July 4, 1928, in Kosciusko County, to Pete and Emma Mullet Graber. On Oct. 1, 1964, she married Eli Kuhns, who survives.
A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and a member of Old Order Amish Church, Nappanee.
Also surviving are a daughter, Pauline Faye Kuhns, Etna Green; three sons, Alton Jay (and spouse Treva) Kuhns and Ernest Lee (and spouse SuEtta) Kuhns, all of Etna Green, and LaVern Dean (and spouse Arlene) Kuhns, Goshen; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters: Dorothea Gingerich, Riverside, Iowa;  Mary (and spouse Olen) Schrock, Kalona, Iowa; Ruth (and spouse Joseph) Graber, Spooner, Wis.; and Susie (and spouse Homer) Hershberger, Leon, Iowa; Martha (and spouse Enos) Kaufman, Etna Green; and two brothers, Paul (and spouse Anna) Graber, Guthrie, Ky., and Ralph (and spouse Sharon) Graber, Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Marvin Miller residence, 8903 N. CR 800W, with Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church officiating. Burial will be in Graber Cemetery.
Calling is after 1 p.m. Wednesday and all day Thursday at the family residence.
