A Syracuse man and a Mentone woman were injured Sunday in a motorcycle crash in Warsaw.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday, emergency personnel were dispatched to Ind. 15, between CR 300N and CR 350N for a single motorcycle crash, according to a news release from the Warsaw Police Department.
The preliminary results of the investigation indicate that the 2012 Harley-Davidson Electric Glide Ultra Class motorcycle was traveling south on Ind. 15. The driver - Dustin Cloud, 36, Syracuse - stated he lost control of the motorcycle on loose gravel, ejecting him and his passenger, Heather Hildabridle, 33, Mentone.
Cloud suffered injuries to the lower leg. Hildabridle suffered injuries to her entire body, the release states. Due to the severity of the injuries, both were airlifted from the scene and flown to a Fort Wayne hospital.
Responding agencies included the WPD, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Lutheran EMS, Lutheran Air Ambulance and Parkview Samaritan Air Ambulance.
The KCSO Fatal Team was contacted to assist with the ongoing investigation. There is no further information at this time.
