CHURUBUSCO – Whitko held on for the win Saturday.

UPLAND – The strong late season play for Grace College’s men’s basketball team continued on Saturday with a 79-67 win at Taylor University. The Lancers (15-15, 5-13 Crossroads League) have now won four of their last six games to close out the regular season.

The Indiana High School Athletic Association announced the boys basketball sectional draw Sunday.

BOURBON – Tippecanoe Valley coach Chad Patrick issued his boys basketball team an ultimatum: play well, or run.

HAMLET – Jake Harmon set the Lakeland Christian boys basketball career three-point record as the Cougars won 55-47 Friday at Oregon-Davis.

INDIANAPOLIS – Three Wawasee High School wrestlers earned the right to climb the awards podium at the IHSAA State Finals at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Warsaw boys swimming team hosted Thursday’s sectional preliminaries and had several swimmers finish in the top eight to advance to Saturday’s finals. 

WINONA LAKE – The Grace College women’s basketball team continued its winning ways with a 73-57 upset of Crossroads League rival Huntington University on Wednesday.

MARION – Kyle Mangas scored a lot of second half points in a pair of wins last week for No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan University men's basketball.

NAPPANEE – The Tippecanoe Valley boys basketball team fell 51-45 Wednesday in a makeup game at potential Class 3A Sectional 21 opponent NorthWood.

WINONA LAKE – Playing the final regular season home game of his college career, Logan Godfrey turned in a memorable performance Tuesday night at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.

NORTH MANCHESTER – Manchester had no answer for Columbia City’s Mitchell Wilson Tuesday night.

WINONA LAKE – Three Lakeland Christian girls basketball players earned ICSGA Academic All-State honors.

WATERLOO – The Lakeview Middle School wrestling team took fourth place at Saturday’s DeKalb Invitational. 

For the 24th year, the Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association is pleased to announce its incoming Hall of Fame Class.

The Jefferson Lady Spartans defeated the Harrison Lady Huskies 31-11 Monday night in the Tiger Den to win the girls side of the Warsaw Elementary City Basketball Tournament. 

The Jefferson Spartans beat the Claypool Knights 29-23 Monday night in the Tiger Den to claim the boys Warsaw Elementary City Basketball Tournament.

Losing to Merrillville Saturday afternoon, said Warsaw boys basketball coach Doug Ogle, would have been a hard pill to swallow.

WINONA LAKE – Grace College’s women’s basketball team was unable to sustain a second quarter lead, falling 71-62 to No. 7 Marian University on Saturday.

INDIANAPOLIS – Warsaw senior Delaney Wihebrink capped off her prep swimming career in style Saturday. 

UPLAND – The Grace College track and field team enjoyed a successful meet at the Crossroads League Indoor Championships over the weekend.
