Frederick Eugene "Cricket" Kammerer, 84, of Leesburg, died at 1:30 p.m. June 25, 2011, in Lakeland Rehabilitation Center, Milford. He was born Dec. 5, 1926, in Leesburg, to Chris and Ida Anglin Kammerer. On Jan. 6, 1961, in Folksten, Ga., he married Maxine Sand, and they were together 50 years.
