Lila L. Wease, 78, of Grace Village, Winona Lake, died at 7:15 p.m. July 27, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born March 8, 1933, in Napolean, Ohio, to Arthur and Pauline Henrich Babcock. On July 22, 1950, in Yuma, Ariz., she married Hugh D. Wease, who died  in 2007.

SYRACUSE - Raymond A. Bricker, 63, of Syracuse, died Nov. 17, 2008, in his residence.

GOSHEN - Ronald Lee Beasley, 67, of 12989 N. Eastshore Drive, Syracuse, died unexpectedly at 7:07 p.m. April 15, 2007, in the emergency room at Goshen Hospital after becoming ill while golfing.

NORTH MANCHESTER – Charles R. Shaffer Jr., 89, of North Manchester, died at 12:30 a.m. April 10, 2013, in his residence. Arrangements are pending at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester.

COLUMBIA CITY – James E. Wolfe, 86, Columbia City, passed away at 6:21 p.m. March 20, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

AKRON - Edna Mae Shewman, 91, of 836 E. Walnut St., Akron, died at 11:15 a.m. May 6, 2007, in Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

ROCHESTER – Catherine L. Horbin, 87, Rochester, died at 12:06 a.m. March 11, 2015, in Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

MILFORD - Tonya Kay Underhill, 52, of Leesburg, went home to be with the Lord Aug. 9, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

NORTH MANCHESTER – Helen C. Boyer, 84, of North Manchester, died at 6:45 a.m. July 10, 2013, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.

SILVER LAKE – O. Joan Rule, 90, Fort Wayne, and formerly of North Manchester, died at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 10, 2015, in The Heritage, Fort Wayne.

BRYAN, Ohio - Kay Ann Patten, 62, of Edgerton, Ohio, and a former Bryan, Ohio, resident, died Dec. 23, 2008, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville, where she had been a patient the past three days.

MENTONE – Alice A. Engle, 79, rural Claypool, died at 5:07 a.m. Nov. 10, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, after an extended illness.

ROCHESTER - Clem H. Miller Jr., 81, of 1844 E. CR 300S, Rochester, died at 2:30 p.m. April 17, 2008, in Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.

NORTH MANCHESTER – Fanny F. Helton, 85, Columbia City, died at 5:01 a.m. Feb. 25, 2016, in Renaissance Village, Fort Wayne.

James A. Powell, 57, of Leesburg, died at 12:25 a.m. March 5, 2010, in his residence.

Harold K. Larsen, 93, died at 1 a.m. June 1, 2009, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake, where he resided.

NORTH WEBSTER – Christine A. “Chris” Edwards, 47, South Bend, formerly of North Webster, passed away at 3 p.m. Feb. 9, 2014, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.

MENTONE - Harold L. "Red" Shafer, 71, of 20015 Birch Road, Tippecanoe, died at 11:21 a.m. Dec. 24, 2007, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

COLUMBIA CITY - Mary Imolene Ziegler, 91, Warsaw, died at 7:40 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009, at Mason Health Care where she had been a resident since August 2009.

Anthony Andrew McClanahan, 69, of Warsaw, passed away at 12:20 a.m. Oct. 26, 2012, in Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne.
