NORTH MANCHESTER – This spring, Manchester University's senior capstone Case Studies class created and operated Spartan Paddle Co., a pickleball paddle business, with all earnings going to the Special Olympics.

SOUTH WHITLEY – Whitko Community Schools graduated 85 students during a commencement program May 30 in the Whitko Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.

Students crossing Smith Street to Lakeview Middle School this fall will have to use the crosswalk at Scott Street as the crosswalk at Wood Street will be eliminated for safety reasons.

Tractors will be parked to the west of the fire station in the parking lot. All makes and models, in any condition, are welcome to be a part of the show. You do not have to be a member of the club to show your tractor. Tractors will begin arriving at 3 p.m. and the show will conclude around 8 p.m. Make plans to attend the Egg Festival, enjoy great food and checking out all the tractors and vehicles. A North Manchester woman was killed early Wednesday morning after crossing into the path of a semi tractor-trailer.
