Editor, Times-Union:A magazine carried the letter of a 17-year-old girl who is pessimistic about her future in these bleak days and years in our country.

Editor, Times-Union:Recently an indepth exposé on the high cost of medical  treatment and hardware, i.e., why a hip replacement ran over 14K in the U.S. opposed to 3K in Belgium.

Editor, Times-Union:So here’s the deal for anyone who is confused. Yes, freedom of speech gives anyone the right to say whatever they want. The CEO of Chick-Fil-A has every right to oppose same sex marriage. BUT the same constitution that gives him that right also gives me the right to boycott his company and any other company or person that supports the hate and discrimination of my sister, my cousins, my friends and the millions of others in this world who never once hurt anyone.

Editor, Times-Union:To the young man that drives the black Jeep...

- Fishing Isn't Murder - Supports Jarrette - Thanks To WRSW Fishing Isn't Murder Editor, Times-Union: Sorry PETA, fishing is not murder The group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is another cult parading as a righteous cause.Speaking against the taking and eating of meat is nothing more than accusing the Lord God of Heaven of meanness and cruelty, and rejecting God's teaching.

Our family is deeply grateful for the excellent care given to my husband for the last three months at the Warsaw Meadows Care Center, staffed by the Bethany Lutheran Ministry.

Editor, Times-Union:After reading Mr. Gerard's Nov. 7 News views in which he espoused the same old Republican talking points of tort reform and health savings accounts, I have a few questions for him.

Editor, Times-Union:My belief is that there are two competing philosophies about the relationship of people to their government.

Editor, Times-Union:I couldn’t wait until Nov. 4 to vote for Curt Nisly for State Representative, so I voted early this week.

Editor, Times-Union:I would like to know where in the Bible it says when Jesus was born. My Bible does not tell me.

Editor, Times-Union:On Wednesday, May 18, my father-in-law (David Fuller) and mother-in-law (Doris Fuller) were eating at the America Table when my mother-in-law seen an elderly man pushing a walker and dragging a large suit case, and he looked like he could use some help.

- Church And State - Deaths Of The Innocent - Innocent Until Guilty - Unwanted Animals - Candidate Background - Farm Article Church And State Editor, Times-Union: The Times-Union ran a story in the Feb.27 edition titled "Judge Rules VU Police Did Not Violate Separation of Church and State." In that story, the attorney for a VU student arrested by campus police for drunken driving argued: "A campus police force violated the constitutional separation of church and state." The judge in this case ruled: "Valparaiso University is not violating the constitutional principal of separation of church and state." I will now get to the point of this letter.

- Rivers Initiative - NAFTA - Demo Highlight - CCS Says Thanks - KABS - Bike Path Rivers Initiative Editor, Times-Union: The comment period is over, but not the battle. As I write, two of the three meetings about the American Heritage Rivers Initiative controversy have been completed. These meetings we were told belonged to the Wabash River Heritage trails commission and so what was promoted as "public input" became 10 minutes of questions. Then people were allowed to talk into tape recorders placed at various tables around the room.Hardly a public form of input.

Editor, Times-Union:Dear Marlin Stutzman,Due to your recent statements regarding being a fiscal conservative, rolling back farm subsidies, and a general need for transparency in politics, I am again calling for you to start telling the whole truth when you talk to voters.
