Editor, Times-Union: Can someone tell me exactly where the threat to the president came from, when Ted Nugent said if Obama is re-elected by this time next year, I (meaning his self) will be in jail or dead?
I first heard that he said Obama would be in jail or dead and I said if he said it, it shouldn’t have been said. Although I think we still have freedom of speech here in this country and Ted has been known to go out on a limb for what he believes in. I can not see why he needs to sit down with the secret service to explain his remarks.
I believe there will probably be a lot of people worse off if Obama is re-elected. Some may be dead or in jail. I believe Ted said it right with no threats to the president or anyone else. Now if you want to ask my opinion, why was there no investigation done when Al Sharpton was making terrorist threats in the Martin case? Where were the investigations when the Black Panthers were issuing a bounty on Zimmerman’s head? Where was the investigation's of Eric Holder and maybe even Obama’s role in the murder of two federal agents in the fast and furious mess? Don’t think the agents will spend a lot of time with old Ted. Don’t think he has any prostitutes at his ranch.
Another good one from Obama was him proclaiming he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Let’s see, he was enrolled at the prestigious Punahou academy, in Hawaii I think. Then enrolled in Columbia University then Harvard Law School. Last time I looked Harvard cost a pretty good dime to go to.
I read where he also stated when his parents divorced that his father had left paradise. So let’s not play I’m just a regular middle class joe. You might not have had the spoon in your mouth but it wasn’t too far from the crib.
