SEBRING, Fla. - Virginia Haney died Oct. 12, 2010, in Sebring, Fla.
She was married to Paul Haney for 59 years. He survives.
Formerly of Winona Lake and Syracuse, N.Y., she and her husband served as missionaries for more than 30 years in Nigeria. Working with SIM/ECWA, she taught secondary education, primarily in physics and the Bible. She spoke seven languages.
Also surviving are three daughters, Paula and Mari (and spouse Steve), all of Indiana, and Sarah (and spouse Vern), South Carolina; a son, Peter (and spouse Connie), Oregon; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the SIM Chapel, Sebring.
Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the SIM Fellowship Hall, Sebring.
Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, is in charge of arrangements.
