SYRACUSE – Virginia Barker, 70, Syracuse, passed away May 27, 2015, at her residence. She was born Aug. 13, 1944, in Jenkin Jones, W. Va., to Leonard and Lillian Dillon Reed. She was married to Raymond Barker, who survives in Syracuse. Also surviving are two daughters, Cathy (and spouse Dan) Olson, Milford, and Sarah (and spouse Pat) Sexton, Fort Wayne; one son, Maxwell (and spouse Tiffany) Barker, Fort Wayne; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Norman and Alan Reed. She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Barker Jr. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. Burial is in Syracuse Cemetery. Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
