Thomas Stewart Guy Jr., 87, died Oct. 12, 2007, at Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw.

He was born Jan. 16, 1920, in Burket, to Thomas Stewart Sr. and Zella Faye McSherry Guy. On Nov. 13, 1943, in Warsaw, he married Barbara L. Kinsey, who survives.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, he was a line supervisor at NIPSCO, retiring in 1981, after 40 years of service. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1943-45. He was a Burket High School graduate; a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge and Fort Wayne Scottish Rite; and member of First United Methodist Church.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jon (Patricia) Wallace, Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Richard (Mary Anne) Knepper, Fort Worth, Texas; a son, Robert (and wife Teresa) Guy, Bloomington, Ill.; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and William "Wayne" Guy, and a sister, Beaulah Guy, at birth.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Pastor Denny Bollenbacher officiating.

Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
