ROCHESTER – Shirley Hiatt, 74, of 3361 N. CR 200W, Rochester, died at 6 a.m. June 14, 2011, in Woodlawn Hospital. She was born Sept. 12, 1936, in Huntington County, to John F. and Blanche D. Miller Raub. On Aug. 26, 1956, in Leiters Ford, she married Everett “Pat” Hiatt, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Cathlene (and spouse David) Strong, of Cusco, Peru, South America, and Bev Hiatt, Huntington; a son, David (and spouse Catherine) Hiatt, Rochester; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three brothers: three sisters: Martha “Marti” Schwenk, Rochester; Jan (and spouse Lynn) Mishler, Leiters Ford; and Donna Brucker, Muskegon, Mich.; and a brother, John (and spouse Margaret) Raub, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Sunrise Chapel, Plymouth, with Pastors Mark Allen and Brian Sewell officiating. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
