Saul Vallin, 42, Fort Wayne, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 5, 2014, in his residence. He was born May 15, 1971, in Warsaw, to Salvadore and Marina Aguirre Vallin. On June 1, 1990, in Warsaw, he married Rebecca Jimenez, who survives. He lived most of his life in Warsaw until moving to Fort Wayne in 2004. He was employed as a head supervisor for Dalton Foundry in Warsaw. He enjoyed working and helping people with solving problems. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved food and enjoyed going out to eat and having fun. Also surviving are three sons: Izrael, Izaiah and Izequiel Vallin, all of Fort Wayne; his father and stepmother, Salvadore and Luz Vallin, Warsaw; four brothers: Alfredo, Manuel and Chava Vallin, and Raul Ibarra, all of Warsaw; four sisters: Marina Gonzalez, Martha Garza and Irene Reyes, all of Warsaw, and Maria Hinojosa, Detroit, Mich. He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, Juan and Jose Ybarra. A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
