MARION – Rose M. O’Brien McGraw, 85, passed away July 24, 2016, in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. She was born June 24, 1931, in Indianapolis, to Frank and Eleanora Koers Cardis. On May 30, 1951, she married Robert F. O’Brien, who preceded her in death Jan. 16, 1977. On Nov. 22, 1980, she married Willis L. McGraw, who preceded her in death Jan. 18, 2004. She went to St. Philips Neri School and St. Johns Academy. She was a homemaker and former member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Marion. Surviving are five children: Dan (and spouse Sue) and Mike (and spouse Sylvia) O’Brien, all of Marion; Mary Ann (and spouse Gerry) Easterday, Fort Wayne; Tom (and spouse Nancy) O’Brien, Coppell, Texas; and Kevin (and spouse Renee) O’Brien, Yorktown; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathy Sellers and Peggy O’Brien. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, Marion, with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial will immediately follow funeral services in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery.
