Richard “Dick” Harry Wallis, 91, Houston, Texas, and formerly of Warsaw, died Oct. 12, 2015. He married Faye Teeple, who survives. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Most people would remember him as the owner of the Jet White Store, Warsaw, years ago. He was a member of the American Legion, Warsaw, and also a member of the Masons. He moved to Houston in 1984, and worked in the sales division of the Houston Post. Also surviving are two stepchildren, Susan Reffeitt and James McClure; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Wallis. Cremation services will be in the spring at Stoney Point Cemetery, Clunette.
