BOURBON - Ramona M. Baer, 73, of 3160 Center St., Tippecanoe, died at 6 p.m. Jan. 23, 2009, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

She was born Jan. 5, 1936, in Park County, to Warren and Gladys Myers Timberlake. On Nov. 25, 1959, she married Vernon Baer, who survives.

She was a librarian at Bourbon Public Library and taught music at Tippecanoe School before the consolidation into Triton High School. She was a 1954 Rockville High School graduate and attended Indiana State College, Grace College and Indiana University, South Bend.

Also surviving are two sons, David (and spouse Carol) Baer, Argos, and John (and spouse Sue) Baer, Goshen; four grandchildren; two brothers, Lewis (and spouse Joan) Timberlake, Michigan City, and Jerry (and spouse) Timberlake, Florida. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, with Pastor Phillip Platz officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Cemetery.

Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
