SYRACUSE – Patricia Lou “Pati” Jackson, 75, Syracuse, went home to be with the Lord April 28, 2015, in Fort Myers, Fla. She was born May 29, 1939, in Decatur, to Edward and Ozema Isch. On Sept. 17, 1961, she married the love of her life, Thomas L. Jackson, who survives. She was a 1957 graduate of Poling High School in Jay County. She partnered with Tom in their construction business, TL Jackson, where she was bookkeeper and office manager. Upon their retirement, she and Tom wintered in Fort Myers, where they bonded with friends they considered as their second family. She attended Lifepoint Church, Goshen, and she enjoyed spirited southern gospel concerts. She adored her children and grandchildren, and never missed an opportunity to watch and support them in their many different sporting and church events. She loved life in general, she made friends wherever she went, and she listened with a loving heart to all. She took advantage of every opportunity to tell those she met about Jesus, and lived the example of Christianity that she shared. Most of all, she enjoyed hugs and gave them freely to all. She is also survived by her two sons, Brad (and spouse Lynnette) and Bruce (and spouse Leslie) Jackson, all of Syracuse; five grandchildren: Alex (and spouse Lakin) Jackson, Milford; Pvt. Sam (and spouse Victoria) Jackson, serving in the U.S. Army in Germany; Ben, Luke and Elizabeth Jackson, all of Syracuse; two great-granddaughters, Remi and Winnie Jackson, Milford; two sisters, Jeannie (and spouse Dick) Norris, Clearwater, Fla., and Pauline (and spouse Don) Haines, Bluffton; one brother, Paul (and spouse Anita) Isch, Pennville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mary; and three brothers: Jim, Dick and Tom. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at North Webster Church of God with Pastors Jeff Boyer and Troy Scott officiating. Burial services follow at Syracuse Cemetery. Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, and one hour prior to church services Monday. ***** Condolences may be sent via eastlundfuneralhome.com
