She was born in Ligonier on Aug. 7, 1934, the daughter of Glen and Mildred Fought Stabler.
She graduated from Syracuse High School in 1952 and went on to build a remarkable career, retiring in 1999 from Silgan Plastics in Ligonier after 42 years as a silkscreen operator and maker. Her long years of work reflected the steady dedication and strength that marked her life.
On Dec. 10, 1955, she married Harold DeBolt, and they shared many years together until his passing in 2018. Norma was known as a happy, caring and loving woman whose greatest pride was always her family. That love shaped the way she lived and the way she will be remembered.

She also enjoyed watching television, particularly her soaps and game shows, and was a huge fan of Billy Ray Cyrus. These interests brought her comfort and happiness and will remain part of the many memories held by those who knew her.
