Nita Marie Oppenheim, 90, formerly of Warsaw, passed away Dec. 27, 2015, in Sarasota, Fla., at her residence. She was born June 12, 1925, to William and Ina Johnson Garland. She was married to Norbert Paul Oppenheim, who passed away in 2000. She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Paula (and spouse Lyle) Harris Long and Connie (and spouse Steve) Rufenbarger; three grandchildren, Chad Rufenbarger, Stephanie Lesher and Reed Harris; and five great-grandchildren: Mairin and Liam Rufenbarger, Grace and Michael Lesher and Quinten Harris. Private burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Father Chuck Herman, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Pierceton, officiating.
