Nicole "Nikki" Sue Brinkley Sager, 37, went home to be with her Lord Jan. 20, 2011, after an extended illness at I.U. Medical Center, Indianapolis.
She was born Jan. 19, 1974, in Richmond, to James and Bonna Brinkley.
She was a teacher's assistant with the special education department at Harrison Elementary School, Warsaw. She loved spending time with her children, fishing and swimming in the many lakes of Warsaw and her many beloved pets.
Surviving are two children, Kaitlin and Jason Sager, both of Warsaw; the father of her children, Brian Sager, Warsaw; her fiance, Patrick Obloy, Warsaw; her mother and stepfather, Bonna and Gary Adkins, Richmond; her father and stepmother, Brian and Lena Haviland, Fountain City; three sisters, Crystal (and spouse David) Westover, Brownsville, and Patricia Messer and Amanda (and spouse Jay) Johnson, all of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her birth father and grandparents.
A memorial service will be at noon Tuesday at First Christian Church of Warsaw, 115 Park Ridge Drive, Warsaw.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home, 2290 Provident Court, is in charge of arrangements.
