Names In Friday’s Fatal 3-Vehicle Accident Released

NAPPANEE – Officials have released the names of the people involved in the fatal three-vehicle crash Friday morning east of Nappanee.
Tim Vanover, 26, Warsaw, was killed when a rolling van hit his truck he was driving west on CR 1350N.
Kosciusko County Coroner Tony Ciriello pronounced Vanover dead at the scene.
At about 4:43 a.m. Friday, a Honda Accord driven by Mario Gonzalez, 56, turned west onto CR 1350N and struck a van driven by Alan Stutzman, 28, Etna Green, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. The impact caused the van to roll and collide with Vanover’s truck.
Gonzalez was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital with minor injuries.
Stutzman was airlifted to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, from the scene. He is listed in serious condition.
