Maxine Lucille Mick

SYRACUSE – Maxine Lucille Mick, 92, of Syracuse, died at 5:50 p.m. May 15, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse. She was born March 4, 1922, in Syracuse, to Clarence and Eva Eppert McKibben. On Dec. 17, 1976, in New Paris, she married Frederick Mich, who died March 24, 1987. A lifetime area resident, she attended Syracuse public schools. In 1993, she retired from Syracuse Rubber Co. after 32 years of service. She was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Syracuse. Surviving are a daughter, Sandy (and spouse Edward) Grise, Goshen; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles McKibben, Syracuse. She also was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a stepbrother. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Syracuse Cemetery, with Pastor John Rauch officiating.
