GREENFIELD – Mary Lou O’Hair Jarrett, 86, Greenfield, passed away Nov. 23, 2014, at Community Hospital East.
She was born Sept. 20, 1928, in Putnam County, to  Marion and Mae Keyt O’Hair. On Oct. 25, 1947, in Indianapolis, she married Harold E. Jarrett, who survives in Greenfield.
She loved her family and children and enjoyed being a housewife. She was in the Peace Corps from 1985-1987 in Papua New Guinea. She was a member of Mohawk United Methodist Church, and loved to garden, work with flowers, crochet, quilt, cook and antiques.
Also surviving are two sons, David L. (and spouse Susie) Jarrett, Warsaw, and Kevin J. (and spouse Sheri) Jarrett, Greenfield; two daughters, Deborah K. (and spouse Tim) Robinson, Morristown, and Janet S. Addison, Bloomington; two brothers, Gale and Max O’Hair, both of Greencastle; a sister, Elva Porter, Bainbridge; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Andrew, Dwight and Robert O’Hair; a baby son, Thomas L. Jarrett; and grandson, Adam Jarrett.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday following calling at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. U.S. 40, Greenfield, with the Rev. Woody Thompson officiating. Burial is in Mendon Cemetery, Pendleton.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
