Martha Lair, 50, of Winona Lake, died at 2:50 p.m. Oct. 1, 2011, in her residence.

She was born July 26, 1961, in Marietta, Ga., to Albert Jerome and Virginia Francis Lantrip Blasingame. On June 3, 2011, in Fort Worth, Texas, she married Mark Lair, who survives in Winona Lake.

A Kosciusko County resident since 2006, she held several office administrative positions throughout her working career. She was a member of New Life Christian Church and World Outreach where she sang with the Praise and Worship Team. In addition, she was a former member of the Symphony of the Lakes. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in music and music education.

Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Sarah Lair, Mansfield, Texas, and Caitlin (and spouse Anthony) Irvine, Winona Lake; a stepson, Christopher Lair, Mansfield; and three sisters, Mary (and spouse Don) Skelton and Myra (and spouse Victor) Perry, all of Fort  Worth, and Susan Kurfees, Punta Gorda, Fla.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at New Life Christian Church and World Outreach, Warsaw, with Pastor John B. Lowe II officiating. Burial will be in Kemp  (Texas) Cemetery.

No calling is planned.
