LAFAYETTE - Margaret Berniece Bartol Geise, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away Oct. 20, 2010, in Lafayette.
She was born and raised in Warsaw, to Ralph and Berniece Klingel Bartol, of 930 E. Center St. On June 2, 1951, she married Norris Geise of Fort Wayne. He died in December 2001.
She attended Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., and worked for Eastern Airlines, Washington, D.C., and Florida. After returning to Indiana, she worked for Wolf and Dessauer, Fort Wayne, and the Joyner Corp., Warsaw. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Surviving are two daughters, Anne Angermeier, Evansville, and Diane (and spouse Alan) Farkas, West Lafayette; six granddaughters: Emily Greenwood (and spouse Adam) Stark, Troy, Ohio; Sally Angermeier (and spouse Mike) Primus, Indianapolis; Molly and Kate Greenwood, both of Lafayette; and Polly and Susanna Angermeier, both of Evansville.
A prayer service will be at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, for family and close friends.
Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel, 914 Columbia St., Lafayette, is in charge of arrangements.
