NORTH MANCHESTER - Lyle L. Bonewitz, 61, North Manchester, died at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 19, 2011, in his residence.
He was born in Wabash County to G. Duane and Tomaline Martin Bonewitz.
He worked at North Manchester Foundry for 40 years. He was a member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester. He graduated from Manchester High School in 1967.
Surviving are a son, Eric (and spouse Rebecca) Adams, Warsaw; two daughters, Tammy (and spouse Denny) Williams, Warsaw, and Becky (and spouse Leno Lopez) Flores, North Manchester; a brother, Elmer (and spouse Barb) Bonewitz, North Manchester; five sisters: Monace Baker, Van Buren; Tonie (and spouse John) Cave, Luetta (and spouse Bill) King, all of North Manchester; Drucilla (and spouse Ron) Varney, Huntington; and Jannette Strasser, Wells, Mich.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
