AKRON - Louise Eaton, 84, of 906 W. Main 1B, Peru, died at 11:45 a.m. June 11, 2008, in Caring Hands Healthcare, Peru.
She was born May 10, 1924, in Bremen, to Clarence and Marie Richter Thompson. On Aug. 25, 1947, in Louisville, Ky., she married Stewart Easton, who died May 28, 2001.
She was a rural mail carrier in the Akron area and worked at a factory in South Bend. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Peru, and a 50-year member of Moose Lodge.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Wiggs, Miami, Ind.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Francis "Whitey" Thompson, Akron.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Father Frank Kilcline officiating. Burial will be in Akron Cemetery.
