NORTH MANCHESTER - Linda Carol McLaughlin, 60, of North Manchester, died Dec. 18, 2007, in her home on East Seventh Street, North Manchester.
She was born March 7, 1947, in Decatur, Ill., to Loren W. and M. June Small Garver. On June 29, 1969, she married Michael "Mike" J. McLaughlin, who survives.
She graduated from Manchester College in 1969 with a degree in art education. After being a stay-at-home mom for several years, she worked part-time at the News Journal, North Manchester, designing ads for 14 years. The last 12 years, she worked at Timbercrest Senior Living Community as the activities coordinator. She was a member of the First Brethren Church in North Manchester.
Also surviving are two sons, Timothy (and spouse Tawn) McLaughlin and Benjamin (and spouse Janelle) McLaughlin; five grandchildren; a sister, Donna (and spouse David) Brian, Knoxville, Tenn.; and a brother, Curt Garver, Decatur, Ill.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Brethren Church, North Manchester, with Pastor Kurt Stout officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
