Leona M. Bailey, 82, of Warsaw, died at 1:41 a.m. Aug. 11, 2012, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born May 31, 1930, in Marietta, Ohio, to Calvin and Thyrza Kinsey Lee.
Moving to Warsaw from Ohio more than 50 years, she was a homemaker and attended New Creation Church, Warsaw.
Surviving are three sons: William (and spouse Becky) Bailey, Warsaw; Elam Bailey, Atlanta, Ga.; and Matthew (and spouse Victoria) Bailey, San Diego, Calif.; three daughters, Thyrza Jane (and spouse Charles) Boring and Juanita Wooten, all of Warsaw, and Marlene Bailey, Pierceton; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Junior Bailey; three brothers, Fred, Ellis and Vic Lee; and three sisters, June Kehl, Geraldine Brown and Kathleen Walters.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by the Rev. Rick Tolley of New Foundations Ministries, Wabash. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
